Is there really a Trump roundup of judges?

CNBC sees these moves as “a sharp escalation in the Trump administration's aggressive efforts to remove undocumented immigrants from the U.S.”

The Left outlets were at it again, taking a slice of a story and presenting it as a whole 16-inch pizza.

Prime example: MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow: “Arresting a judge today. Are you kidding me?”

Much of the social media chatter from the Left made it seem as if President Trump was — or soon would be — rounding up judges like Easter eggs on the White House lawn.  There is no roundup.

The “arresting a judge” angle was hit with a sledge hammer. What often was glossed over was the judge being accused of breaking federal law, instead of enforcing law.

Arrested was Milwaukee Circuit Court Judge Hannah Dugan, apparently a social justice warrior who thought her black robes were something like a Colgate shield to protect her. She was wrong, arrogant and lacking judicial temperament, if she is found guilty.

She is charged with obstructing ICE agents from arresting an illegal who was in her courtroom.

That happens to be a federal offense, and she can get up to six years, I have read.

She won’t, and even shouldn’t, in the opinion of former state prosecutor Chris Christie, who later became the governor of New Jersey and a presidential candidate for a New York minute.

On a Sunday talk show, he said there were two wrongs — hers, if she did it, and the government for (pardon me) making a federal case out of it.

Well, he seems to have calmed down from the guy who as governor shouted down citizens at public meetings, and was a tough law and order guy before that. Maybe, like a side of kobe steak, age has made him tender.

The CNBC link I provided above did something not all outlets did — tied Dugan’s arrest to the arrest of a disgraced judge in New Mexico the day before. That guy is charged with harboring illegals with suspected gang ties.

That’s one way to describe it. Here is another — efforts to enforce immigration law that had been ignored by Joe Biden. There, that should fix it.

The Hard Left wants Open Borders, which would break up America like a glass Lamborghini hitting a power pole. I say that based on a global Gallup poll that reported 160 million foreigners would come here if they could. That would increase our population by 50%.

If  just 50 million showed up:

How could they be housed? Where would they work? What schools would they attend? Where would they find medical treatment?

It would be a catastrophe, a nation-killing experience.

But is the Hard Left actually for Open Borders?

Yes. I said it, and I can prove it.

They favor sanctuary cities which prohibit cooperation with federal immigration enforcement. If anyone who gets here is allowed to stay here, and can’t be deported, that is Open Borders.

The operating belief of sanctuary cities is that their moral superiority outweighs actual U.S. law.

And that seems to be where Judge Dugan’s head is at.

According to the feds, she broke the law. She was arrested. The Left howled like wolves under a full moon.

Would they be howling as much if a cop had been arrested and charged with a crime?

That’s what’s known as a rhetorical question. We know the answer: N-O!
